Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and convert technical project requirements into engineering deliverables.
- Review and validate vendor and subcontractor documentation pre- and post-order.
- Collaborate with other discipline engineers and ensure timely delivery of instrumentation outputs.
- Provide engineering inputs to design teams for the preparation of construction drawings.
- Lead or participate in inter-discipline reviews, squad checks, and client interactions.
- Support control systems design and ensure alignment with P&I interfaces and E&I requirements.
- Assist with special engineering studies including HAZOP, SIL, and safety compliance evaluations.
- Ensure quality standards and documentation are maintained in line with ISO/QMS procedures.
Required Skills & Technical Competencies
Must-Have:
- Strong understanding of instrumentation engineering principles.
- Ability to review and check design documents and vendor deliverables.
- Familiarity with estimation engineering, BOQs, and instrumentation specs.
- Experience in vendor interaction and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to interface with electrical and process disciplines for integrated project execution.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and SIL (Safety Integrity Level).
- Knowledge of P&ID interpretation and inter-disciplinary design management.
- Experience in EPC or Oil & Gas instrumentation projects.
