Key Responsibilities
Precast Production Management
- Establish and operationalize the precast facility in coordination with Construction Methods & Planning teams to meet project timelines.
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with overall construction plans.
- Supervise and guide precast production staff to meet targets on the number of precast elements.
- Coordinate logistics and manpower planning to ensure smooth yard operations.
- Interface closely with MEP and finishing teams for timely embedment and integration of precast components.
- Reconcile material usage accurately to maintain cost control and inventory standards.
- Ensure adherence to ACE (Authorized Construction Engineer) provisions and safety protocols within the precast yard.
- Maintain stringent quality control and safety standards during production.
Precast Erection Supervision
- Prepare and oversee the erection schedule based on unit handover requirements.
- Monitor and manage the stock of precast elements to ensure availability as per project needs.
- Supervise the erection of precast panels following standard industry practices.
- Optimize the use of plant and machinery at the construction site for efficient erection.
- Monitor safety and quality during all erection activities on-site.
- Resolve technical and logistical challenges in coordination with design, planning, construction, and client teams.
- Collaborate with finishing teams to ensure seamless handover of precast units on schedule.
Skills & Expertise
- Proven experience in precast production and erection management in building or factory infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, manpower management, and material reconciliation in precast operations.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, safety standards, and site coordination.
- Ability to interface effectively with multiple teams including MEP, finishing, design, and client representatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience handling technical issues related to precast elements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage schedules and cross-functional coordination.
Qualifications
- Graduate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or ITI Trade Certificate.
- Minimum 6 years to 15 years of relevant experience in precast construction and site management.
