Key Responsibilities
🔧 Plant & Machinery Maintenance
- Ensure safety, reliability, and optimal functioning of all plant and machinery assets on-site.
- Plan and execute periodic maintenance activities aligned with manufacturer recommendations and site-specific conditions.
- Monitor equipment availability and maximize utilization efficiency to support project timelines.
⚙️ Equipment Mobilization & Control
- Coordinate mobilization, demobilization, commissioning, and de-commissioning of equipment smoothly and on schedule.
- Manage spares procurement, inventory control, and obsolescence reduction to minimize downtime.
👷 Team Leadership & Resource Planning
- Allocate and distribute daily activities among maintenance staff, tracking performance and productivity.
- Plan and control manpower requirements to meet operational needs effectively.
📋 Compliance & Quality Management
- Maintain effective and efficient maintenance processes compliant with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standards.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory safety and operational regulations governing plant and machinery functions.
📊 Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Analyze plant and machinery performance data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of plant & machinery maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Experience in equipment availability optimization and maintenance scheduling.
- Hands-on expertise in inventory management of spare parts.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 QMS and safety compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively on-site.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- Trade Certificate (ITI) or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 3 years experience in plant and machinery maintenance; experience up to 30 years will be considered.
