About the Role

As an Associate Director – Cybersecurity and Data Protection, you will lead the implementation and strategic consulting around enterprise data protection solutions for Deloitte clients. You will work hands-on with technologies such as Microsoft Purview DLP, ForcePoint DLP, Netskope, CASB, and more—guiding enterprise security roadmaps, data security audits, and risk mitigation strategies.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders, internal teams, and cybersecurity professionals to architect secure environments, reduce insider threats, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Data Security tools: DLP, CASB, DAM, DRM, SASE, and Insider Risk Management.
• Configure and fine-tune DLP use cases and data classification labels to align with client environments.
• Evaluate and improve client data security postures based on risk assessments.
• Drive the design of cybersecurity roadmaps, operating models, and security standards.
• Provide strategic advice on optimizing current toolsets and recommending new technologies.
• Conduct incident response for data breach investigations and assist in remediation.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity and data privacy laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in data protection and cybersecurity consulting.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on configuration experience with tools like:
  • Microsoft Purview (O365 DLP, AIP, MIP)
  • ForcePoint DLP, CASB, SASE, DAM
• Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and client advisory skills.

Preferred:

• Certifications in security technologies (e.g., Microsoft Security, ForcePoint, Netskope).
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP, HIPAA).
• Experience with security frameworks and governance models.
