Role Overview
As a Senior SAP Commerce (Hybris) Developer, you’ll be responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 application support, maintaining system uptime, resolving technical issues, and leading solution architecture and integration efforts. This role requires strong eCommerce development expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for SAP Hybris Commerce Cloud (B2B & B2C).
- Analyze logs, troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues within SLAs.
- Ensure platform health, performance tuning, and uptime monitoring.
- Collaborate with business users to resolve functional issues.
- Debug backend/frontend code and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
- Document SOPs and share best practices for continuous improvement.
- Develop backend/frontend solutions aligned with project goals.
- Design APIs using secure, scalable design patterns.
- Configure Hybris modules: Product Cockpit, Customer Service, WCMS, OMS.
- Lead full-cycle eCommerce implementations (catalog, checkout, pricing, etc.).

- Core Expertise:
- SAP Commerce (Hybris) development and customization
- Hybris CMS and eCommerce suite (B2B/B2C)
- Java, J2EE, RESTful services
- Frontend & UI:
- Adobe AEM, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, Hybris WCMS
- Search & Analytics:
- Endeca, SOLR, Google Analytics, Bazaarvoice
- System Integration:
- API integration with external payment gateways
- CDN, social media, in-memory caching (EhCache/Oracle Coherence)
- DevOps & Tools:
- Git, JIRA, Rally, Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Hybris eCommerce platform
- Strong understanding of globalization, localization, and multi-language support
- Experience designing scalable solutions for enterprise-grade systems
- Working knowledge of SAP Hybris tools: Management Console, Admin Console, Cockpits
- Familiarity with SEO, personalization, pricing, promotions in eCommerce
