Responsibilities

• Apply advanced machine learning and deep learning algorithms to solve complex business problems with a consultative, hands-on approach.
• Collaborate with domain and customer teams to understand business context and data dictionaries.
• Design, develop, and deploy deep learning models for diverse data types including text, speech, image, and video.
• Build NLP models for text classification, custom entity recognition, relationship extraction, summarization, topic modeling, and semantic search using tools like Spacy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Develop image recognition and video analysis models utilizing open-source tools such as OpenCV.
• Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering with Python, R, SQL, and cloud data pipelines.
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models to maximize accuracy and business impact.
• Visualize AI outcomes for validation and analysis using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Collaborate with application teams to deploy models on cloud or on-premises environments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to support efficient ML model deployment.
• Integrate AI/ML models with other applications through REST APIs and connector technologies.
• Continuously learn and incorporate the latest AI/ML techniques, author white papers, and create demonstrable assets highlighting AI impact.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms.
• Proficiency with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and NLP libraries like Spacy.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience deploying AI models on cloud platforms like Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, and Google Cloud AI.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and GPU computing.
• Version control using Git and GitHub.
• Ability to quantify and estimate the business impact of AI models.
• Excellent communication skills to explain and “sell” AI solutions across teams.

Qualifications & Desirable Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience processing large-scale data with PySpark and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning, optimization/genetic algorithms.
• Proven ability to operationalize deep learning models and scale AI solutions in production.
• Knowledge of streaming data processing, RPA, edge computing, and AR/VR technologies.
• Contribution to open-source AI communities or participation in platforms like Kaggle.
• Exposure to AI and cognitive services platforms such as IBM Watson, DataRobot, H2O.ai, or CognitiveScale.
