🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend applications and microservices.
  • Manage and optimize SQL databases including schema design, query writing, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party services.
  • Write complex SQL queries and develop efficient data pipelines for processing and analysis.
  • Automate workflows and tasks using Python scripting for seamless data flow and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as front-end developers, data engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize application and database performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain high-quality code standards with proper documentation, version control (Git), and code reviews.
  • Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Stay updated on emerging Python frameworks, database technologies, and industry best practices.

🧠 Required Skills and Technologies

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming with practical experience in backend development.
  • Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with Python frameworks: Flask or Django.
  • Knowledge of data analysis libraries like Pandas.
  • Understanding of API design, development, and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, primarily Git.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing methodologies.
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
