Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team delivering Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
- Conduct technical feasibility analysis and recommend scalable, future-ready customizations
- Design, develop, deploy, and support customized Business Central ERP functionalities and extensions using AL programming
- Integrate Dynamics 365 Business Central with external systems via APIs, OData, and web services
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom code, system performance, and integrations
- Collaborate closely with application teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Prepare technical documentation including design, configuration, and QA-related documents
- Conduct user training and provide expert guidance during implementation and post-go-live support
- Stay updated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates, AL development best practices, and Azure services
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC), including multiple full-cycle implementations
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics NAV and experience upgrading NAV to D365 BC
- Expertise in AL programming and working with Visual Studio Code
- Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for D365 BC projects
- Functional knowledge of Business Central ERP modules and customization
- Familiarity with Business Central APIs, OData protocols, and integration techniques
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Development experience with .NET and building plugins
- Experience with Power BI development or integrating Power Platform with D365 BC
- Prior work with ISV or Microsoft Partner-based development
