🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Senior SAP IS-Oil Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP IS-Oil Downstream modules including Contracts, Quotes, Pricing, Shipments, and TSW Ticketing.
- Drive end-to-end SAP process design for Hydrocarbon Product Management, Transportation Planning, and Logical Inventory Adjustments.
- Configure key modules such as Excise Duty, Stock Reconciliation, Valuation, and Logistics Invoice Verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and provide SAP solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Participate in blueprinting, prototyping, integration testing, and post-go-live support.
- Support technical teams with Basic ABAP debugging and performance tuning.
- Document functional specs, test scripts, run books, and ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
- Conduct batch job scheduling and data migration activities effectively.
✅ Desired Skills & Expertise
- Proven expertise in SAP IS-Oil Downstream module.
- Working knowledge of SAP HCM, SAP MM, SAP SD, and S/4HANA Sales.
- Functional experience with:
- Contracts & Pricing
- Transportation and Distribution
- TSW Ticketing/Nominations
- Hydrocarbon Quantity Conversions
- Excise and Taxation Handling
- Ability to debug and interpret ABAP code (basic level).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with workflow design, data object mapping, and regression testing.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of SAP IS-Oil project experience (implementation or support).
- SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales or MM is preferred.
- Experience working in global delivery models or virtual teams.
