Key Responsibilities
As a Manager – SAP Materials Management (MM), you will:
- Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP MM implementations, including at least three end-to-end projects on S4 HANA platforms.
- Configure and optimize Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Price Determination, Subcontracting, and Stock Transfer processes.
- Integrate SAP MM module with other modules such as SAP SD, FI, and PP, ensuring seamless cross-functional process flow.
- Analyze and document as-is and to-be business processes, driving efficiency improvements through SAP MM configuration.
- Collaborate with clients in consulting roles, providing leadership to logistics and supply chain teams.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and custom reports.
- Manage interface integration using ALE, IDocs, and external system communication.
- Support invoicing processes, including external and intercompany invoicing.
- Utilize strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve incidents effectively.
- Mentor junior SAP consultants and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in SAP Materials Management with solid hands-on expertise in S4 HANA implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing, Price Determination, Stock Transfers, Subcontracting processes.
- Experience with Public Cloud SAP environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Basic understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module is a plus.
- Proven client-facing experience with strong leadership skills to manage logistics teams.
- Ability to write clear functional specifications and configuration documents.
- Experience in integration and interfacing using ALE and IDocs.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in the consulting industry and willingness to travel for client engagements.
