π§ Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable data engineering solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric components like lakehouses, pipelines, and dataflows.
- Lead data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Azure Data Factory, PySpark, SQL, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Manage data quality, governance, and compliance across Bronze (raw), Silver (cleansed), and Gold (curated) data layers.
- Collaborate with analytics engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data models and schemas supporting business goals.
- Optimize data platform performance with monitoring, tuning, caching, partitioning, and indexing techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices in data engineering, pipeline development, and data governance.
- Implement strong data security measures including encryption, access control, and data masking aligned with regulatory standards.
- Migrate and integrate existing applications from Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and process transparency.
- Apply Lean and Agile principles to enhance data engineering operations and continuous improvement.

- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric data engineering tools, Azure cloud platforms (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI), and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PySpark, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).
- Deep knowledge of lakehouse architecture, real-time data analytics, and data governance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to data accuracy and quality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
- Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate are a plus.
