Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain client firewall infrastructure and security environments to ensure zero SLA breaches.
- Provide Level 1 (L1) support by handling standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests.
- Deliver timely and effective incident resolution via telephonic support, ITSM ticketing systems, and chat.
- Schedule and execute routine maintenance tasks such as patching and configuration changes.
- Assist in project-related tasks as needed within security managed services.
- Perform thorough monitoring of client infrastructure, promptly investigating issues or errors.
- Follow shift handover protocols to maintain seamless service continuity.
- Create and update knowledge articles to improve support efficiency.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to automate and optimize service delivery processes.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing and implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related fields, or relevant work experience.
- Basic experience in network security, data center operations, system administration, or storage monitoring.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.
- Strong skills in active listening, communication, and client interaction.
- Disciplined approach to ticket handling with adherence to SOPs.
- Proficient in using ITSM tools for incident and request management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated client-centric attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours and shifts if required.
