Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and adjudicate healthcare insurance claims, resolving payment denials efficiently.
- Handle authorization requests, coordination of benefits (COB), duplicate claims, pricing corrections, and claim adjustments.
- Understand and apply healthcare insurance policies including concepts like in-network/out-of-network providers, deductibles, co-pay, coinsurance, and coverage limits.
- Ensure timely completion of transactions to meet or exceed client service level agreements (SLAs).
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively to maintain workflow consistency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare insurance products, policies, and team processes.
- Resolve complex claims issues within pre-established guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in claims adjudication and claims adjustment processes in healthcare insurance.
- Knowledge or experience with Facets system is a plus.
- Familiarity with professional (HCFA) and institutional (UB) claims preferred but optional.
- Strong communication skills with excellent reading comprehension and writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility to work in the AR Shift (5:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST) with occasional overtime and weekend work as per business needs.
