🧩 Key Responsibilities
As a Lead SAP DBM Consultant, your core duties will include:
- Leading the design, configuration, debugging, and support of SAP DBM 8.0 in automotive environments.
- Implementing custom SAP DBM solutions, including events, actions, status management, and service process flows.
- Driving end-to-end dealership service processes from gate-in to gate-out.
- Managing integration of SD, MM, VMS, WTY, and other SAP modules.
- Configuring custom scenarios for document types, item categories, order splits, and more.
- Delivering functional specification documents and managing knowledge transfer to junior teams.
- Supporting client workshops, training sessions, go-live activities, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Ensuring timely resolution of tickets with high-quality change delivery and SLA compliance.
- Driving a 35–40% reduction in support tickets through permanent solutions and process improvements.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years hands-on SAP DBM consulting experience, preferably with DBM 8.0.
- 8–16 years of total experience in SAP Automotive domain.
- Strong knowledge in SAP SD, MM, VMS, WTY, and their integration points with DBM.
- Ability to lead solution design, customer conversations, and process optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in data migration, SAP architecture understanding, and cross-module impact analysis.
- Functional knowledge of SAP output management and pricing configurations.
- Proficiency in drafting detailed functional documents and change requests.
- Past experience in dealer training, end-user support, and ticket handling SOPs.
