Key Responsibilities
As a Networking Managed Services Engineer, you will:
- Monitor IT infrastructure and network security systems proactively.
- Identify and resolve low-complexity incidents and service requests.
- Investigate and troubleshoot first-line support issues and escalate when necessary.
- Perform routine network maintenance, patching, and configuration changes.
- Provide telephone or chat-based technical support to clients.
- Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of service delivery.
- Document all actions taken and update knowledge base articles regularly.
- Identify automation opportunities and suggest process improvements.
- Support disaster recovery testing and contribute to small project initiatives as needed.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Firewall and VPN: Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Virtual Juniper
- Networking Devices: Cisco Nexus switches, ASR/ISR routers, Meraki access points
- Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, NAT
- Monitoring Tools: SecureCRT, LogicMonitor
- Other Skills: Configuring and troubleshooting ISP uplinks (DIA, MPLS, P2P circuits), Enterprise network architecture, Network troubleshooting

- Basic understanding of network management, data centers, storage, telephony, or cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to ITIL practices is desirable.
