Role Overview
As a Network Engineer at IMC Trading, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring our Mumbai office maintains ultra-stable and high-speed networks. Your role will involve the full lifecycle of network engineering—from designing and optimizing the infrastructure to monitoring performance, automating operational tasks, and supporting secure connectivity for trading systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support low-latency WAN/LAN networks, including routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM, and performance mechanisms like QoS, STP, NAT, and protocol tuning IMC Trading.
- Continuously monitor and analyze network performance, taking corrective actions and maintaining structural resilience IMC Trading.
- Contribute to network automation initiatives using Bash and Python scripting to enhance efficiency and reliability IMC Trading.
- Maintain thorough documentation of network schemas, configurations, and operational procedures IMC Trading.
- Oversee and support IT security platforms, such as Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and security policies IMC Trading.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, specializing in high-performance and low-latency networks IMC Trading.
- Proven expertise in network design and operations, including protocols like OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM, and performance tuning such as QoS, STP, and NAT IMC Trading.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and Python IMC Trading.
