About the Role
As a Deputy Manager in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team, you’ll support global CFA mandates across M&A transactions, working closely with the Swiss and global Deloitte member firms. You’ll be responsible for preparing critical deal documents, conducting in-depth research, performing valuation analyses, and managing project deliverables in a high-performance, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-impact transaction materials such as:
- Teasers, pitch books, information memorandums, and management presentations
- Conduct financial and strategic buyer analysis, and support client targeting
- Perform company and industry research to support cross-border deal execution
- Create and review valuation models (DCF, LBO, PPA), interpret results, and highlight key insights
- Collaborate with global teams across Europe and other regions on live mandates and proposals
- Use financial databases like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Mergermarket for data gathering and analysis
- Manage multiple deliverables while ensuring high-quality output within tight deadlines
- Guide junior team members with training, feedback, and mentorship
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through dashboards, newsletters, and insights reports
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or M&A advisory
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (DCF, LBO, multiples, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with databases like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Thomson One
- Strong understanding of valuation techniques and financial statement analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience in preparing client-ready deliverables and presenting to senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / CFA / CPA / MBA (Finance/Economics/Management)
- Background in Big 4 financial advisory, middle-market investment banks, or corporate M&A teams
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and working with international clients
