Key Responsibilities

🔹 Payroll Management & Compliance

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll for vendor workforce in collaboration with third-party vendors.
  • Validate payroll inputs, outputs, exception reports, and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with EPF, ESI, PT, TDS, and all Indian statutory payroll regulations.

🔹 HR Operations & Vendor Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage onboarding and exit formalities for vendor employees across locations.
  • Track workforce changes and maintain real-time dashboards for manpower visibility.
  • Conduct exit settlements and coordinate final dues processing.

🔹 Employee Grievance & Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll- and HR-related grievances.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and fast TATs for issue resolution.
  • Conduct feedback sessions and grievance trend analysis.

🔹 Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with manpower vendors and internal teams (Ops, Legal, Compliance).
  • Track KPIs like attrition, absenteeism, payroll accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead monthly governance reviews and vendor performance audits.

🔹 Reporting & Automation

  • Maintain employee records and generate regular reports: attrition, payroll, grievances.
  • Support HR digital transformation by streamlining manual processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related fields; MBA in HR preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in HR/Payroll operations, especially for blue/grey-collar workforces.
  • Proficiency in Excel, HRMS platforms (Darwinbox, Zoho, Bluetree, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, vendor governance, and compliance management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working with third-party vendors or staffing firms.
  • Understanding of helpdesk/grievance systems, compliance scorecards, and service KPIs.
  • Exposure to HR audits, payroll automation, and labor law assessments.
