Key Responsibilities
As a SAP EPM SAC Planning Consultant, you will:
- Design, develop, and configure advanced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Build and automate planning logic using Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, and Allocations.
- Implement multi-version, top-down/bottom-up, and scenario-based planning models.
- Integrate SAC Planning with SAP Datasphere and ABAP CDS Views for seamless real-time data connectivity.
- Develop and optimize SAC Stories and Dashboards to enhance planning and forecasting capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end SAC solutions.
- Assist integration efforts between SAC Planning and SAP applications like S/4HANA and SAP BW.
- Troubleshoot, support, and improve existing SAC Planning solutions post-implementation.
- Follow Agile methodologies to deliver incremental solutions and incorporate user feedback.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP EPM solutions, including 2+ years specifically in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning.
- Strong proficiency in SAC model creation, formulas, data actions, and allocations.
- Solid understanding of business planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with SAP Datasphere, ABAP CDS Views, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BW.
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Agile mindset with experience in iterative development and delivery.
