🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Tesla Charging & Energy Field Technician, you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Tesla Supercharger stations and stationary energy systems.
- Travel to multiple sites for installations, diagnostics, and emergency service.
- Perform high-level electrical and electro-mechanical diagnostics using professional tools.
- Operate and maintain power tools, diagnostic instruments, and measurement devices (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for energy system maintenance.
- Accurately report issues, service logs, and daily updates to the Tesla service engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and availability.
- Provide support beyond your regional area, including potential international travel.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and Tesla’s quality expectations.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Electrician with valid license and registration in India.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical service (Commercial, Utility, Industrial sectors).
- Experience with solar, wind, or battery energy storage systems (BESS) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and cloud-based mobile work platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
- Must be physically fit – able to lift 20–25kg and work in various environments.
- Willingness to work outdoors and during non-standard hours.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
