π οΈ Key Responsibilities
As a Tesla Autopilot Vehicle Operator, your role includes:
- Driving prototype vehicles in designated areas for sensor and camera data collection (5β8 hours/day).
- Starting/stopping recording equipment and performing light troubleshooting.
- Monitoring and ensuring data quality, reporting findings to the engineering team.
- Submitting detailed daily drive reports with technical and observational notes.
- Ensuring the vehicle is operational and safe before each shift begins.
- Collaborating with internal teams to suggest improvements in data collection processes.
- Adhering to Tesla’s safety protocols and drug testing policy per company and legal standards.
- Being flexible with shift schedules and available for weekend work as part of your normal shift.
π§ Skills & Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- High attention to detail and ability to stay alert during extended driving hours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Technically proficient with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and data tools.
- Understanding of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed, domestically and internationally.
- Availability for overtime and a flexible work schedule, including weekend shifts.
