🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Tesla Vehicle Operator – Autopilot, you will:
- Operate Tesla prototype vehicles for extended periods (5–8 hours daily) to collect critical camera and sensor data.
- Start, monitor, and stop recording devices; troubleshoot minor hardware/software issues.
- Ensure vehicle safety checks are completed before every shift.
- Conduct real-time analysis and provide feedback on the quality of collected data.
- Submit detailed daily reports on data quality, system behavior, and anomalies.
- Communicate observations clearly to the development and engineering teams.
- Comply with Tesla’s safety protocols and drug testing policies.
- Support software and hardware diagnostics as needed during data collection.
- Travel domestically or internationally based on project needs.
🧠 Skills & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to stay focused during long drives.
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and verbal.
- Tech-savvy with advanced PC proficiency (especially Microsoft Office).
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) is a strong plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
