🛠️ Key Responsibilities
As a Global Supply Manager – International Logistics, your core responsibilities will include:
- Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to define and secure logistics service agreements.
- Ensure contracts include NDAs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Master Purchase Agreements.
- Develop and implement category strategies for Finished Vehicle, Warehousing, Customs, and Service Parts Logistics.
- Maintain global contracts across 3PLs, trucking, air, ocean, and LTL logistics providers.
- Drive cost reduction and avoidance through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Analyze global market trends and supplier data to guide procurement strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Finance, Engineering, Trade, and Logistics Ops.
- Evaluate supplier performance and manage supplier relationships end-to-end.
- Consolidate spend to create leverage and identify high-potential suppliers globally.
- Lead bid evaluations, price negotiations, and sourcing recommendations.
- Implement key performance metrics and dispute resolution protocols.
- Create competitive supplier environments and conduct value-based analysis for final vendor selection.
- Guide the procurement of special logistics equipment and services as needed.
🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations (required).
- 5–6+ years of experience in vendor management, logistics sourcing, or supply chain strategy.
- Proven record of executing large-scale procurement projects in logistics.
- Experience with global sourcing tools (SOPs, RFPs, NDAs, Purchase Orders, etc.).
- Advanced negotiation, contract management, and program execution skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to evaluate supplier cost models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across all stakeholder levels.
- Ability to work in high-speed, high-growth environments with minimal oversight.
- Master’s degree or MBA in Supply Chain or related field is preferred.
