Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS using core services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Runners to automate deployments.
  • Configure and manage cloud security, including IAM roles, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Support containerized deployments with Docker and AWS services such as ECS or EKS.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure health and troubleshoot using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar tools.
  • Write automation scripts with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for operational tasks and cloud management.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, business stakeholders, and clients to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Skills & Expertise

  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and foundational cloud computing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and cloud management.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like ECS/EKS.
  • Ability to implement and manage cloud security best practices, including IAM policies and encryption.
  • Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills using AWS CloudWatch and logging platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and lead cloud initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience managing or leading cloud projects in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to cloud security services such as KMS, Secrets Manager, and AWS Config.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup procedures in cloud environments.
  • Certifications related to AWS or cloud infrastructure (preferred).
