Key Responsibilities
As an IT Assurance Consultant, you will:
- Lead or assist in end-to-end execution of ITGC, ITAC, and SOC1/SOC2 audits
- Conduct process walkthroughs, test IT controls, and analyze compliance gaps
- Manage audit modules including planning, testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with client teams to address queries and discuss audit observations
- Review and validate audit evidence, document findings with high accuracy
- Provide guidance to junior team members on audit methodology and execution
- Contribute to the development of remediation strategies and control enhancements
- Support audit planning and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
Core Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with IT General Controls (ITGC) and Application Controls (ITAC)
- Strong understanding of SOC reporting (SOC 1 & SOC 2)
- Experience with ERP-based control testing (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Proficiency in audit frameworks and compliance standards: SOX, SSAE, ISO 27001
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Technical Skills
- Understanding of business process controls mapped to enterprise systems
- Working knowledge of audit tools and control testing documentation
- Familiarity with TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC
- Prior experience with large-scale IT audits or advisory projects
- Exposure to risk management, compliance reporting, and internal controls evaluation
