Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis on:
- DDR and LPDDR memory interfaces
- High-speed serial IOs like PCIe, USB, UFS, CSI/DSI/MIPI
- Conduct simulations from model extraction to result presentation
- Provide expert guidance on die floor plans, IC packaging, and PCB power distribution
- Use industry-standard tools like Ansys HFSS, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS, and HSPICE
- Document and present results across cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with experienced SI engineers while shaping future analysis methodologies
Essential Skills & Tools
- Deep knowledge of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and SPICE transient simulation
- Hands-on experience with:
- 3D EM field solvers
- SI and RF simulation tools
- IBIS model usage and validation
- Proficient in tools such as:
- Ansys HFSS / SIwave
- Cadence Sigrity
- Keysight ADS
- HSPICE
- Familiarity with Mentor or Cadence PCB design software
- Strong documentation and communication skills for internal and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Signal Integrity / Power Integrity roles
- Prior exposure to simulation, analysis, and high-speed circuit design in a commercial environment
