About the Role
As a Salesforce Developer – Senior Consultant, you’ll design and implement customized Salesforce solutions for complex business challenges. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce applications that improve efficiency, enhance customer engagement, and drive measurable value.
You’ll be responsible for solution design, configuration, customization, integration, and deployment—using Salesforce best practices while mentoring junior team members and engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Solution Design & Development
- Design and develop Salesforce-based applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Flow.
- Customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, and Marketing Cloud as per client needs.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using APIs and web services.
- Apply best practices for configuration, data management, and scalability.
Project Delivery & Client Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce implementation projects.
- Conduct client workshops, demos, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Monitor delivery quality, timelines, and resource utilization.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise and mentor junior developers and consultants.
- Ensure adherence to Deloitte quality standards and project methodology.
- Collaborate across teams to implement cloud, AI, and digital transformation solutions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, Lightning enhancements, and emerging tech.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes.
- Contribute to internal accelerators, best practices, and reusable solution assets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–7 years of professional experience in Salesforce development or consulting.
- 3–4 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations (preferably global or enterprise-level).
- Strong experience in:
- Salesforce Lightning framework
- Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds
- Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL
- API integrations (REST/SOAP)
- Understanding of project management and agile methodologies.
- Strong client interaction and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Heroku, e-commerce, and Salesforce Industry Clouds.
- Familiarity with CPQ, Tableau CRM, MuleSoft, or Einstein AI.
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Platform Developer I / II
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Consultant – Service / Sales / Marketing Cloud
