About the Role
As a Senior Consultant – SAP MM, you will lead SAP Materials Management (MM) implementations, drive process design, and deliver enterprise-grade SAP S/4HANA solutions for global clients.
You’ll play a crucial role in transforming procurement and inventory management systems through your functional expertise and deep understanding of SAP integration across modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP MM configuration and implementation projects across various industries.
- Analyze client requirements, map business processes, and design optimized SAP MM solutions.
- Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SD, PP, FI/CO, and WM.
- Manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, from blueprint to post-go-live support.
- Conduct workshops, develop functional specifications, and lead user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and ensure SAP MM processes are stable and efficient.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or equivalent field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP MM module implementation and support.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification processes.
- Proven experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Knowledge of integration points between MM and other SAP modules.
- Excellent communication, client-handling, and analytical skills.
- SAP Certification in MM or S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Ariba, SRM, or SAP Fiori.
- Exposure to global SAP rollouts and multi-country implementations.
- Experience working in a consulting environment with cross-functional teams.
