Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant – SAP MM/WM, you will design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions for pharmaceutical clients, focusing on inventory management, procurement, warehouse processes, and compliance. You will work closely with stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Implementation & Configuration
- Implement and configure SAP MM/WM modules including Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Storage Bin, and Storage Section.
- Ensure solutions comply with GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Analyze business requirements from supply chain, manufacturing, and QA teams.
- Translate requirements into functional SAP specifications and configuration documents.
Integration & Data Management
- Integrate SAP MM/WM with FI, CO, SD, QM modules, LIMS, and other external systems.
- Manage master data, including material master, vendor master, info records, and pricing conditions.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans, conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Training & Support
- Provide end-user training on SAP MM/WM processes.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot SAP-related issues.
Process Optimization & Project Participation
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve SAP process efficiency.
- Participate in SAP implementation projects, system upgrades, and validation exercises.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain comprehensive SAP configuration and process documentation.
- Stay current with SAP technologies, industry trends, and pharma regulatory updates.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in SAP MM/WM configuration, integration, and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO/SD/QM integration.
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Ability to manage end-to-end SAP implementations in pharma environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in SAP MM/WM consulting or implementation.
- Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP implementation experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) preferred.
