Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Enhance solutions using User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, and the Enhancement Framework.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization for ABAP applications.
• Develop and maintain IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALE integrations for seamless system communication.
• Support unit testing, system testing, and UAT to ensure smooth go-live deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and maintain technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Work on ABAP Objects (OOP), Dialog Programming, ALV reports, SmartForms/SAP Scripts, and Data Dictionary/Table Controls.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, BDC, LSMW.
• Proficiency in Enhancement Framework, User Exits, BADIs, and explicit/implicit enhancements.
• Experience with RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, ALE, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, PP, HR is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in custom ABAP enhancements.
• Willingness to travel for short- or long-term assignments.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and team collaboration abilities.
