Summary

Deloitte India is seeking a Terraform Consultant to join its Technology & Transformation (T&T) Engineering team. This role is ideal for cloud engineers, DevOps specialists, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) professionals with hands-on experience in Terraform, AWS, cloud deployment, and automation scripting.

As a Terraform Consultant, you will design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions, configure automation workflows, and implement scalable Infrastructure as Code processes. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on multi-cloud environments, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise-grade automation projects, enabling data-driven decision-making and cloud modernization.

Job Details at a Glance

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Configure automation workflows and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable deployments.
• Support AWS core services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Runners, and automation scripts.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, ELK, or equivalent monitoring tools.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Assist in containerized deployments using Docker and AWS ECS/EKS.
• Follow security best practices, manage IAM roles, policies, and encryption standards.
• Maintain proper documentation of processes, solutions, and UAT scenarios.
• Collaborate with business and process owners to design, implement, and maintain automated cloud processes.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud automation tools.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing principles.
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, Linux environments, and networking basics.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/ECS/EKS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced hybrid environments.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in cloud deployment, Terraform, and DevOps automation.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Basic understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance.
