In this leadership role, you will shape, implement, and deliver enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, ensuring organizations remain secure, resilient, and compliant with global standards.
As a part of Deloitte’s Cyber Defense and Risk Management team, you’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive adoption of security frameworks, governance models, and compliance programs—all while mentoring high-performing teams and advising C-suite executives on emerging cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Director / Director – Cybersecurity Frameworks and Standards, you will:
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Deloitte’s client-facing cybersecurity solutions.
- Act as the product owner and voice of the customer within Agile delivery teams.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, ISO 27001) into actionable user stories and security controls.
- Collaborate with business leaders, compliance officers, architects, and technology teams to align security priorities and solution outcomes.
- Oversee security framework design, risk management programs, and policy governance.
- Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Continuously refine security capabilities based on user feedback, threat trends, and analytics.
- Represent cybersecurity thought leadership in executive briefings, governance boards, and industry forums.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, secure, and scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (B.Tech, B.E, M.Sc).
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or Technology Consulting.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, PSD2, SOC 2, etc.).
- Experience in agile product ownership, stakeholder management, and security service delivery.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance, security architecture, and data protection.
Key Skills
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with CXOs, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Creative and structured approach to content creation, thought leadership, and knowledge dissemination.
- Hands-on familiarity with security tools, assessment methodologies, and regulatory mandates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or TOGAF.
- Experience leading large-scale cybersecurity transformation programs.
- Exposure to cloud security governance, DevSecOps, or data privacy programs.
