The Opportunity

As an Associate Director – Venture Building, you will:

• Lead strategy development and execution for new digital ventures.
• Oversee a portfolio of client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of growth initiatives.
• Work closely with C-suite leaders to define disruptive business models and value propositions.
• Shape EY’s thought leadership in venture strategy and innovation.
• Mentor teams of consultants and drive a culture of excellence, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver growth and innovation strategies for clients across industries.
• Build digital-led business models integrating customer insights, market analysis, and financial modeling.
• Lead cross-functional teams including design, data science, and technology experts.
• Define go-to-market (GTM) strategies, commercialization plans, and customer acquisition frameworks.
• Oversee rapid prototyping, business case validation, and product roadmaps.
• Use data analytics and AI to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive end-to-end venture creation.
• Build strong executive-level relationships and act as a trusted strategic advisor.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Deep understanding of digital strategy, venture creation, and product innovation.
• Expertise in business design, GTM strategy, and data-driven growth models.
• Hands-on experience in AI, analytics, and emerging technologies.
• Strong capability in P&L modeling, product management, and customer experience design.
• Proficiency with modern tech ecosystems – DevOps, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or Analytics.
• 8–12 years of professional experience (or 7–10 with a Master’s degree).
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or digital transformation.
• Proven record in growth strategy, product design, or venture incubation.

Preferred:

• MBA or equivalent Master’s degree.
• Experience with top-tier consulting or digital strategy firms.
• Experience building digital products or start-ups from concept to scale.
