About the Role
As a SAP BTP Consultant (ABAP/UI5 Developer) at Deloitte India, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of modern SAP applications using the SAP Business Technology Platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that enhance client business performance and digital transformation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP BTP-based applications using CAPM and RAP models.
- Build and customize SAPUI5/Fiori applications (standard and custom).
- Integrate backend systems using OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Gateway.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and architects to implement end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize code and performance using SAP HANA, SQLScript, and related tools.
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks, utilizing tools like JIRA for sprint planning and tracking.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with Deloitte’s delivery standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills
- 2–6 years of development experience on SAP BTP, UI5, and ABAP.
- Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) and RAP.
- Hands-on expertise in Fiori App development, extensions, and deployment.
- Knowledge of OData, RESTful APIs, and SAP Gateway integration.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA modeling, SQLScript, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to Agile methodology and DevOps environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines from a premier institute.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for short or long-term client engagements across India.
