About the Role
As a Manager in AI & Data Consulting, you’ll collaborate with Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies to deliver AI-driven transformation programs, develop GenAI and data strategy frameworks, and build scalable analytics ecosystems. You will design roadmaps, architect data solutions, and lead cross-functional teams that blend strategy, technology, and innovation.
This is a client-facing leadership role that requires deep business acumen, hands-on data expertise, and a passion for driving measurable business impact through AI.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Data Consulting for Private Equity
- Partner with PE operating partners and leadership teams to design AI and GenAI transformation strategies.
- Develop and deploy AI playbooks, frameworks, and accelerators for scalable implementation.
- Identify opportunities for data monetization, cost optimization, and digital transformation.
GenAI & Digital Transformation
- Lead GenAI initiatives from ideation to scaling across portfolios.
- Build AI/ML accelerators for business optimization (e.g., customer service, predictive analytics, automation).
- Stay ahead of trends in LLMs, process mining, and advanced analytics to deliver next-gen solutions.
Data & Analytics Strategy
- Architect cloud-based data solutions using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, analytics COEs, and data marketplaces.
- Create end-to-end data transformation programs – from roadmap to execution.
Business Development & Client Management
- Identify and pursue new PE consulting opportunities.
- Support proposal creation, client presentations, and strategic engagements.
- Represent EY at industry events, analyst briefings, and thought leadership forums.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor teams across consulting, data engineering, and AI product development.
- Foster collaboration between AI experts, analytics specialists, and industry consultants.
- Drive knowledge sharing and capability building across the GDS network.
Key Requirements
Education
- MBA / PGDM or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Analytics, or Business Management.
- Engineering or quantitative academic background preferred.
Professional Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in AI strategy, data analytics, and digital transformation consulting.
- Proven experience with Private Equity or portfolio transformation projects.
- Track record in developing AI accelerators, playbooks, or data-driven consulting platforms.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of GenAI frameworks, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and data visualization tools.
- Exposure to ERP transformations (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) and portfolio tech integrations.
- Familiarity with process mining tools such as Celonis, Signavio, or PAFnow.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional client engagement and stakeholder management with C-suite executives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Certifications in GenAI, AI/ML, or Data Analytics from Google, Microsoft, AWS, or Coursera.
