Deloitte India is hiring a highly skilled Senior Consultant – Azure DevOps to join its Technology & Transformation Engineering team in Bengaluru (Ecospace). This position is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about DevOps automation, Azure cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer at Deloitte, you will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions, and cloud-native architectures. About the Role

As a Senior Consultant – Azure DevOps, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable DevOps pipelines, managing Azure cloud environments, and leading containerized application deployments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply modern DevOps methodologies, and ensure the seamless delivery of secure, efficient, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized applications (Docker).
• Develop automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for scalable and reproducible environments.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams for seamless integration and deployment.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and compliance with Deloitte standards.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and cost efficiency on Azure.
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

Experience:

• 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and automation pipelines.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure cloud services (AKS, VM Scale Sets, Azure Functions, App Service, Azure Monitor).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, IaC tools (Terraform, ARM), and source control (Git).
• Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes architecture, and microservices deployment.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience in consulting or client-facing project management.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
