About the Role

As a Senior Consultant – SAP FICO, you’ll design and configure SAP FI Asset Accounting solutions while ensuring seamless integration with modules such as CO, PP, and AA. You’ll be responsible for requirement gathering, functional design, system configuration, and end-to-end implementation, helping clients improve their financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI-Asset Accounting (AA) and Leasing solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration between FI, CO, AA, and other SAP modules.
• Prepare detailed Functional Specifications for custom developments (RICEFs).
• Support end-to-end SAP FICO implementations — from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Develop and maintain data mapping documents, conversion interfaces, and IDOCs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver SAP best practices and business process improvements.
• Manage interfaces using ALE, RFC, EDI, and Proxies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP FI-AA and FICO issues.
• Guide clients in SAP Concur, Travel & Expense (T&E), and industry-specific FICO configurations.
• Act as a customer-facing consultant, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in SAP FI – Asset Accounting (AA) and FI-Leasing.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules — GL, AR, AP, AA, CCA, PCA.
• Deep expertise in FI-AA configuration, functional design, and business process mapping.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Financials (preferred).
• Proficiency in RICEF objects and interface design (IDOCs, EDI, RFC).
• Solid business understanding to suggest optimal SAP solutions for finance operations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least two end-to-end SAP FICO implementations.
• Exposure to SAP Concur, Travel & Expense, and Enterprise Contract Management (ECM).
• Experience working in customer-facing consulting roles within global delivery models.
