Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – VAPT & Cybersecurity, you will:
- Conduct Web, Mobile, and API penetration testing and Infrastructure VAPT assessments
- Perform Mobile application security assessments, configuration reviews, and source code reviews
- Utilize industry-standard VAPT tools such as Burp Suite, Nipper, Kali Linux, Nexpose, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, and Fortify
- Assess network security, including TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, routers, switches, and overall network architecture
- Develop and maintain security scripts in Shell, Python, Perl, or similar languages
- Collaborate with teams to provide technical guidance for remediation of vulnerabilities
- Stay updated with emerging cyber threats, exploits, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability assessment
- Strong knowledge of Web Application, Mobile, API, and Infrastructure Security
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and frameworks
- Basic understanding of business and IT management processes
- Familiarity with network protocols, VPNs, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, SSH, and network technologies
- Good scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Perl
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
