Key Responsibilities
Data Operations & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor FDL data pipelines, ETL jobs, and system health using Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and related tools.
- Resolve data quality issues, job failures, and operational anomalies, both within SOPs and through advanced troubleshooting.
- Respond to alerts, notifications, and incidents in a timely manner, collaborating with technical teams to ensure rapid remediation.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard processes to enhance team knowledge and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders, providing clear updates and support on ongoing issues.
- Proactively coordinate with technical teams to maintain smooth operations across multi-technology environments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Shift & Operational Readiness:
- Support shift-based operations, including weekends, to ensure continuous data lake functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Science (IS), or equivalent from a reputed university.
- Minimum 2 years of IT operations experience, ideally in data platforms or cloud environments.
- Strong Databricks/Spark-based ETL troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with ETL tools (Nifi, Informatica, Talend/TAC, etc.).
- Understanding of ITIL foundational concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to workflow orchestration tools, preferably Airflow.
- Basic knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Experience in financial data platforms or large-scale multi-technology environments.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues beyond standard SOPs.
- Familiarity with incident management and escalation processes.
