About the Role
As a Senior Consultant – Project Management, you’ll manage complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that all deliverables align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. You’ll collaborate with clients, lead diverse teams, and apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Oversee day-to-day execution to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and manage changes proactively.
2. Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Conduct regular status meetings, sprint reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
- Encourage accountability, innovation, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Ensure alignment across technical and business functions.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure satisfaction and business alignment.
4. Risk & Quality Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
- Develop risk response plans and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with Deloitte’s quality standards and delivery frameworks.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed project documentation and audit-ready records.
- Prepare regular status reports and executive dashboards.
- Use project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) for real-time tracking.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–12 years of experience in Project Management within technology or consulting environments.
- Proven success in end-to-end project delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, risk control, and team coordination.
- Proficiency in project management tools – Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive results in dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related fields.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification highly desirable.
- Experience in customer strategy, transformation projects, or digital delivery preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
