Key Responsibilities
As an ERP Technical Consultant at Flex, you will:
- Estimate development timelines and effort for Baan Tools/Infor LN customizations.
- Design, develop, and customize components in Baan 4, Baan 5, and Infor LN environments.
- Test and deploy new developments and customizations according to user requirements.
- Create, install, and manage patches/dumps/PMC on Baan 4, Baan 5, and LN servers.
- Analyze existing ERP components and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues arising from ERP applications.
- Document development processes, testing, and ERP solution workflows.
- Ensure adherence to development guidelines and best practices.
- Work with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver effective ERP solutions.
ERP components handled include: Sessions, tables, domains, forms, scripts, DAL, DAL-2, User Exits, Reports, DOM, labels, extensions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience with Baan V / Infor LN ERP customization and integration.
- Expertise in Baan Tools development (tables, domains, forms, scripts, DAL, DAL-2, user exits, reports, DOM, labels, extensions, Ln Studio, API).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
- Experience in testing, debugging, and performance optimization of ERP solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years specifically in Baan V / Infor LN ERP systems.
- Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing ERP solutions.
- Experience working with middleware integration and ERP system customizations.
