Key Responsibilities
As an ERP Functional Consultant at Flex, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Develop functional specifications to guide ERP development within Baan V, Infor LN, and Mule API.
- Support developers in creating ERP solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Assist developers with functional queries during the ERP development phase.
- Test and document ERP solutions to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Facilitate user acceptance documentation (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Prepare process documentation for Baan V / Infor LN / integration solutions.
- Advise on system configuration to implement ERP solutions effectively.
- Troubleshoot ERP issues and provide solutions for process anomalies.
- Conduct AS-IS and TO-BE analysis for ERP system improvements.
- Assist in full site implementations and upgrades, including pilot testing, data validation, and post-implementation support.
- Organize knowledge sharing sessions for continuous improvement across teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in Baan V and Infor LN ERP functional modules (Order Management, Warehousing, Planning, Procurement, Finance).
- Experience with middleware integration and ERP integration testing.
- Ability to write functional specifications and conduct unit/regression testing.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for ERP anomalies.
- Effective verbal and written communication, capable of explaining complex ERP concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Self-driven with a continuous learning mindset.
- Aptitude for understanding both business and IT perspectives in problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in ERP systems, with 2–3 years specifically in Baan V / Infor LN.
- Experience as an ERP end user or functional consultant is desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP finance solutions, logistics modules, and middleware integration.
