Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Engineer – Engineering Change Management, your daily responsibilities include:
- Create, implement, and finalize Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Perform file maintenance of BOMs, part drawings, ECOs, process alerts, and other critical documentation.
- Coordinate ECO status with customers, implement cost changes, and track effective dates.
- Ensure projects comply with document control policies and procedures.
- Maintain data accuracy and completeness across logs, reports, and distribution channels.
- Manage and track product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.
- Interface with program managers, engineering, manufacturing, and materials teams to ensure all changes are properly documented.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of engineering change management processes.
- Knowledge of BOM management, part masters, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM – 4 AM).
Qualifications
- B.E in Electronics & Communication, EEE, or Electronics.
- 0–1 year of experience in a manufacturing or EMS environment.
- Basic knowledge of technical concepts in engineering change and documentation management.
