Key Responsibilities
Financial & Accounting Advisory
- Support end-to-end FAAS engagements, including financial reporting and advisory services.
- Assist in technical accounting research and prepare deliverables under IFRS/US GAAP standards.
- Contribute to financial statement preparation, consolidation, and period-end reporting.
- Support client communication, including presentations, findings, and recommendations.
Assurance & Client Support
- Collaborate with senior managers and engagement teams on assurance and accounting projects.
- Conduct analytical reviews, variance analysis, and reporting, providing clear insights to clients.
- Ensure compliance with EY policies, standards, and global accounting frameworks.
- Assist in preparing internal documentation, SOPs, and training materials for FAAS processes.
Professional Development & Collaboration
- Participate in learning programs and training for technical and functional skill development.
- Work across multi-disciplinary teams and industries to gain exposure to diverse client scenarios.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and internal process improvements.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and technical accounting concepts (IFRS/US GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting advisory, or assurance services.
- Exposure to financial close processes, technical accounting research, and client deliverables preferred.
