Summary

EY is hiring an Assistant Manager – Infrastructure Advisory (IA-PM) in Kochi to lead Project Management Office (PMO) activities for large-scale infrastructure and capital projects. The role focuses on feasibility, procurement, and implementation stages, offering advisory support for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, project finance, and infrastructure development. Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience in project management, infrastructure advisory, and client engagement, with strong expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Advisory

• Lead infrastructure advisory projects through feasibility, procurement, and implementation phases.
• Set up and manage Project Management Office (PMO) for infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project schedules, governance frameworks, risk management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Oversee project execution, quality management, progress reporting, and handover plans for capital projects.
• Ensure effective coordination and synergy among multiple workstreams.
• Provide insights on PPP project lifecycle, financial structuring, and deal execution.

Stakeholder Engagement & Client Advisory

• Manage multi-level stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and clients.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Transaction teams for integrated project delivery.
• Contribute to proposal preparation, business development initiatives, and research-based recommendations.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for advisory services.
• Travel onshore as required to support project delivery.

Research & Analytics

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to inform project recommendations.
• Leverage data analytics tools (Power BI, Alteryx) for project monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain awareness of current business, economic trends, and regulatory frameworks affecting infrastructure projects.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and capital advisory, PPP frameworks, project finance, and financial modeling.
• Experience in PMO setup, project planning, risk assessment, and governance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects, research databases (IJ Global, Zawya, Thomson One, Factiva).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and provide analytical insights.
• Innovative, proactive, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable.

Qualifications

• BTech (Civil/Construction/Planning), B.Arch, Bachelors in Finance (mandatory).
• MBA/ Master’s in Finance, Infrastructure Management, or Construction Management.
• 4–6 years of experience in project management, infrastructure advisory, or consulting.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in transportation, power & utilities, real estate, tourism, or social infrastructure is an advantage.
