Summary
EY is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Transaction Diligence (TD) in Noida to join its Global Delivery Services (GDS) SaT team. This role is ideal for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in financial due diligence, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), statutory accounting, or external audit. As part of EY’s TD team, you will lead financial due diligence projects, analyze key financial drivers, manage client engagements, and mentor team members, contributing to high-quality deliverables that help clients maximize value, mitigate risks, and achieve strategic goals in acquisitions, divestitures, and corporate restructuring.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence & Analysis
- Execute end-to-end financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Analyze profit drivers, performance trends, and financial assumptions for clients across sectors such as Banking, Insurance, AMC, and more.
- Review financial statements, validate KPIs, and assist with purchase agreements and post-closing transaction matters.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide and mentor team members on project priorities, financial analysis, and deliverables.
- Ensure teams meet client expectations and maintain high-quality service standards.
- Drive best practices, workflow efficiency, and productivity within the TD team.
Project & Client Management
- Manage multiple large- and medium-sized engagements across diverse industries.
- Produce assignment budgets, timelines, and monitor project delivery against defined KPIs.
- Conduct quality reviews of research findings, presentations, and reporting outputs.
Process Improvement & Expertise Development
- Identify and implement new information sources and best practices.
- Apply in-depth subject knowledge to ensure deliverables meet strategic objectives.
- Proactively contribute to research and development for continuous improvement.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for client and internal engagement.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple projects.

- Sector expertise in Financial Services, Oil & Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power & Utilities, Life Sciences is a plus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance from a recognized institute.
- 4–6 years of experience in:
- Financial Due Diligence (FDD)
- External audit (public accounting firm)
- Mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
- Financial planning & analysis or statutory accounting
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
