Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead TSA processes including invoicing, settlements, accounting, and inventory reconciliation for gas and power trading.
- Design, implement, and integrate processes to support new market entries, complex deals, and Power Transformation growth agenda.
- Collaborate with front office, mid office, IT, and business partners to ensure processes meet operational and regulatory standards.
- Support system implementation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize trading operations.
- Maintain robust financial controls, SOX compliance, and audit readiness for high-value transactions.
- Develop a business capability roadmap to align TSA processes with Shell’s evolving energy trading strategy.
- Lead knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team development to strengthen process expertise across the organization.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of energy trading, gas, and power markets.
- Strong financial and accounting acumen, with expertise in IFRS and Trade-to-Financial reconciliation.
- Proven experience in process design, large-scale project delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems, SAP, and digital trading tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and change management skills.
- Ability to strategically align processes with business growth and evolving market requirements.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving in a global environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA) is desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in trading finance, TSA processes, or related roles.
- Proven record of designing, implementing, and managing complex trading processes.
- Experience with Life of a Deal accounting, financial reporting, and energy market transactions.
- Background in process ownership, change management, and digital tool implementation.
- Exposure to new market entries, cross-border energy trading, and Power Transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
