QatarEnergy LNG is seeking an experienced Material Administrator to manage and coordinate inventory, spares, and materials for all offshore assets. This role ensures timely availability of critical equipment and materials to support operation, maintenance, and offshore shutdown projects. The ideal candidate has expertise in oil and gas material management, inventory planning, and offshore logistics, with strong organizational and coordination skills to handle competing priorities under time-sensitive conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Material Planning & Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inventory and materials for all offshore assets to meet operational and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure availability of materials and spares for planned maintenance, shutdowns, and minor projects within defined timelines.
- Expedite internal transfer of materials and coordinate with Engineering and QA/QC teams for material compliance.
Inventory & Documentation Management
- Maintain accurate spares and material records, generate reports for discipline supervisors, and track progress against operational priorities.
- Create reservations for stock items and prepare Direct Material Requisitions (DMR/MDG) ahead of offshore projects.
- Compile detailed plans for offshore shutdowns including meeting minutes, MS Project schedules, photos, and resource allocation.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with company standards, and follow up to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate Material Discrepancy Reports (MDRs) to avoid schedule delays.
- Facilitate testing and mobilization of valves, tools, and equipment for shutdowns and project activities.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Represent the Maintenance Department in meetings with supply chain teams, contractors, and management to discuss material issues and requirements.
- Apply knowledge of products and manufacturing processes to ensure proper material specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare lesson learned and achievement reports post-shutdown for continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of oil and gas material management and offshore logistics.
- Proficient in inventory control, material planning, and documentation compliance.
- Familiarity with SAP and other material management software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under time pressure and handle multiple offshore assets simultaneously.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and vendor management processes.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Operations, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance or operations, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience in maintenance planning, offshore projects, and materials administration preferred.
