Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor refinery and chemical plant units to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations.
- Maintain high concentration, vigilance, and anticipation during duty hours to manage critical unit operations.
- Control and operate DCS/panel systems, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire, H2S exposure, or equipment failure.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize process performance.
- Follow shift handover procedures and maintain accurate operational logs.
- Participate in training programs such as Firefighting, First Aid, and H2S safety protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of refinery and chemical plant operations.
- Hands-on experience in DCS/panel operations.
- High level of attention to detail, vigilance, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work extended and rotating shifts under operational pressure.
- Basic proficiency in arithmetic and process calculations.
- Effective communication skills in English (oral and reading).
- Certified in Firefighting, First Aid, BA, H2S safety training.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of operations experience in refinery or chemical plant units.
- Completed 2 years of technical training or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain operational safety and efficiency in critical environments.
