Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst (Python) – Multi Asset Solutions Risk at JPMorgan Chase, Mumbai, you will:
- Support risk management and investment oversight for MAS strategies globally.
- Facilitate quarterly investment reviews, monitor risk/performance, and collaborate with global investment teams.
- Develop and automate reporting and analytical solutions to improve efficiency.
- Analyze portfolio risk profiles and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare materials and conduct performance analysis for Investment Director Review meetings.
- Partner with stakeholders across Risk Management, Compliance, Business Management, and Portfolio Managers worldwide.
- Manage oversight of global portfolios while building long-term, collaborative relationships across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Fluent Python programming skills – essential for automation and risk analysis.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in investment management, risk analysis, portfolio oversight, or financial products (equities, fixed income, multi-asset).
- Familiarity with MSCI RiskMetrics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent time management, detail orientation, and multi-tasking ability.
- Proven ability to work across diverse global teams.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CFA or FRM certification (advantageous).
- Familiarity with Tableau or data visualization tools.
- Interest in automation, process improvement, and innovative data solutions.
